NHS sets up new integrated system in south east London
On 1 July, the new South East London Integrated Care System was established. Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust is involved alongside other healthcare providers, local authority partners and voluntary organisations. The integrated care system is a partnership that joins up health and care services in south east London to make the greatest possible contribution to the health and wellbeing of people living in Greenwich, Bexley, Bromley, Southwark, Lewisham and Lambeth.
One of the first actions of the new system has been to meet with local people and leaders of local organisations to help inform future health and care plans in south east London.
Throughout July, more than 150 local people attended a series of webinars, which were an opportunity to discuss with their local NHS, care and voluntary sector colleagues about what most matters to local people, their family and friends.
It’s still possible to share your views through Let’s Talk Health and Care South East London (letstalkhealthandcareselondon.org) and take part in online discussions.
