Healthier Greenwich Partnership Public Forum

Healthier Greenwich Partnership, Greenwich’s Local Care Partnership which includes the main health and social care providers and commissioners in the borough, would like to know what matters to Greenwich people to help them plan health and care services. They would like to invite you to their Public Forum which will include an introduction to the Healthier Greenwich Partnership, a discussion focused on proposals for changes to services provided at Eltham Community Hospital and a general discussion on health and care.
The Healthier Greenwich Partnership Public Forum is an informal meeting for people and groups interested in health and care to:
Meet local decision makers
Ask questions
Share what matters to you and your community
Influence plans for health and care in Royal Greenwich

Agenda and how to attend
Introduction to the Public Forum and the Healthier Greenwich Partnership
Discussion on proposals for changes to services provided at Eltham Community Hospital
General discussion where you can ask senior representatives of Healthier Greenwich Partnership questions or raise any issues
Healthier Greenwich Partnership would like to hear from you about proposed changes to the services currently provided at Eltham Community Hospital. The proposals would see the intermediate care beds currently provided by Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust at Eltham Hospital move to be with similar beds at Meadow View ward, Queen Mary’s Hospital. This would enable us to develop a new Community Diagnostic Centre at Eltham Community Hospital which will have significant benefits for the residents of Greenwich and beyond. The proposed centre, would provide up to 64,339 additional scans and 27,418 blood tests per year by increasing existing capacity for ultrasound scans, blood tests and X-rays and creating new capacity for CT scans, MRI scans, respiratory and cardiac diagnostics. It will help to reduce waiting times to meet current demand and provide an opportunity for further expansion to meet future demand. There are several ways you can have your say:
