New services join Oxleas in the South West
In October and December 2022, colleagues working in healthcare services in 10 prisons in the South West of England became part of the Oxleas family.
The prisons are located in Bristol, South Gloucestershire, Wiltshire, Devon and Dorset. We already provide integrated healthcare services in 10 prisons in Kent, Greenwich in South East London and at HMP Wandsworth
These additional contracts mean we are proud to now be the largest NHS provider of healthcare services in secure environments within the country.
To better reflect the wide range of services we now provide in the criminal justice sector, we have amended the name of our Forensic and Prison Services Directorate to Forensic and Offender Healthcare Services.
